Family roles
A family budget needs more than 'everyone can edit'. Our Konomy has four roles, designed around how families actually divide the money: who runs it, who can help run it, who adds their own spending, and who just looks.
Owner — the seat the budget answers to
The owner created the family and manages members and invitations. The budget belongs to this seat — and there is exactly one, on purpose.
Admin — runs it with the owner
An admin does everything a member can, plus manages the budget itself: articles, funds, the close. The spouse, the co-signer, the one who actually does the books — admin is that seat.
Member — adds their own, reads the rest
A member records their own spending and reads the shared budget. They do not manage the structure and cannot close the month — they live in it, not run it.
Viewer — sees, never touches
A viewer reads the whole budget without changing a cent. For the person who wants to know where the money went, without a hand on the keyboard.
