Our Konomy is a private, family-first budgeting application: a shared space for the people you live with to see the same family budget, on infrastructure you control.

The core of the app — your family, the budget workspace, charts and export — is always free. The Premium plan adds receipt scanning and family invitations at a reference price of €5.00/month. The current release does not process payments: billing arrives with the commercial release.

Share your referral code. For every 2 new independent families that start with it, you receive one month of full Premium. A referral qualifies when the person creates a new account and their own family.

Successful renewals are counted globally, in the order they happen. Every 1,000th successful renewal is completely free and adds one month of full Premium to that account. Each user can receive it at most once per calendar year, and failed or canceled renewals never count.

Eleven: English, Romanian, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Arabic with full right-to-left layout. The policy layer covers 249 countries.

There are no trackers, ads, analytics or third-party runtime scripts, and no location is ever stored. Your session lives in an httpOnly cookie, and a self-hosted deployment can keep the infrastructure yours.

The web app is available now as an installable, offline-ready PWA. Native Android and iOS apps are planned and not yet released.

You create your family, invite the people you live with, and open a budget month: plan the articles, record income and expenses, and follow the charts. The budget workspace is part of the free core.

Upload a receipt, or type the lines yourself. Our Konomy parses it on your device into items with a total and a date. You confirm each item or adjust it, and only then is anything recorded. The image is deleted right after you confirm; no image is ever sent to a server for recognition.

Each month is a zero-based plan: income and planned outflows must balance before the month is opened. While it is open, entries are recorded and allocated; closing freezes the month, computes the carry-over and starts the next month from it. A closed month is never changed again.
